If the world stood still

[Clous]

Once again Clous found himself in a horrible situation. Things wouldn’t be as easy as he had hoped. Leaving this school was all but impossible now, it wasn’t just his brother. But there were others watching him. His next move could very well start a war between the great families. He couldn’t bear that, not again. Not for him, he didn’t want anyone to die for him. The walk to class was long as he trudged on, he was a bit early. But he found it easy to avoid the day class students as he went about his way. Class tonight would be interesting. And who knew what kind of torment Victor had lined up for the evening. For the second time in his life Clous was scared. But just like last time, it wasn’t his life he feared for. It was those of the few he had come to actually care for in an odd way. He separated himself for reasons and yet all this hell still pushed itself into existence.

He sighed brushing his hair out of his face as an odd cold wind blew chilling him to his bones. Clous could feel it closing in, his end was so close. I hope you can all forgive me for the pain that I will cause you all. If there were ways to avoid it believe me I would. So much blood, is there really no other way? An image of the beings who made his life interesting this time around flashed through his head, he tried as hard as he could to stop it but it flooded into his head. His heart became heavy, his eyes seemed drained of all life. He came up to the steps of the building where the classes were held stopping as something caught his attention. He paused for a few seconds before he turned around to face it. “So it’s you, never thought it would end like this…pathetic.” Perhaps there is another way...

((There will be a time skip between this and my next post of a few minutes so understand that there will be a bit of a gap))

Ariane was patrolling the grounds of Cross Academy, with the help of Ichi. Who was able to take a day off today, since the Elder was away on some business trip. Ariane was thinking about investigating if he truly was on a business trip but changed her mind.

Ariane was now in a hallway, when she suddenly heard footsteps comming from behind her and a familar manical laugh was comming from that direction too. Both Ichi and Ariane turned. A girl with short brown hair, blue eyes and wearing a orange Koren uniform was running down the hallway while being chased by a crowd of vampires while having a bag over her shoulder. "Dorm prez Ann?!!" Ariane said. Ann laughed like a mad man before saying, "Hiiiiiiii Guardian Ariane!" She then sped past them. Ariane followed her along with Ichi. Ann was still laughing, but suddenly stopped when she tripped over and fell. After seeing this happen, Ariane immdiately shouted, "Ichi!" Ichi nodded his head. Ariane stopped running and turned around as Ichi took Ann somewhere safe. Ariane quickly pulled out her fan. And held her arms out wide trying to block as much as the hallway as she could. "Guardian." One of the vampire said. "Its just a guardian, we can defeat her easy." Another vampire said. "Its not just some guardian, I heard she has one deadly dance and on top of that she's a vampire hunter!" "Really?" "Yeah." Ariane cleared her throat. "You shall not pass through here! Whatever you have with that day class student must be pretty important for you to gang up on her on that. A problem that serious should be reported to someone higher than you. Don't you think?" Ariane stood there, ready to attack or to just put her arms down, cause eventually she'll get tired of having them up.

[Clous]

Blood flowed from the ceiling and over the entrance of the building. The doors were drenched over with blood. A figure walking through the halls. Once the door opened the scent caught the attention of the vamps as they all turned around looking behind them. A chilling voice speaking out and echoing through the halls. “Well I’m of a higher rank, and I think I’ll approve of their actions for the time being. Honestly I believe this school would be a lot better off if you all died.”

The figure had soon arrived at the front of the mob of vamps. Wearing a black trench coat and a black hoodie underneath. The hood pulled over his head, that combined with his white hair covering his face made it so his facial figures weren’t seen. But his voice seemed all to familiar. “Ariane, you have to die here because honestly you’re too much of a threat.” He lifted his left hand prompting the vamps to charger her. A few of them hesitant but soon joined in on the charge.

A smirk crossed the mans face as he watched knowing full well what fate most of them would meet. He knew of her combat ability already. He walked to one of the lockers and leaning back against one of them as he waited.

“Well I’m of a higher rank, and I think I’ll approve of their actions for the time being. Honestly I believe this school would be a lot better off if you all died.” Ariane heard a voice say, her gun started to shake violently. She then saw someoone comming through the crowd, who eventually got to the front. They were wearing a black trench coat with a black hoodie. Ariane put down her arms. Who is that?! They sound...oddly familar. Ariane thought. “Ariane, you have to die here because honestly you’re too much of a threat.” Never met this person before. The person then lift their hand signaling for the vampires to charge, she noticed that a few were hesitant at first but joined in. Oh..just perfect, I think I may have to take off my shoes for this one. Ariane thought as she kicked off her shoes smacking two vampires in the head, but that didn't stop them. Ariane now her socks breathed in and out. She then opened them and began to run towards the crowd, which all came at her at once. Ariane then began her dance. My speed and movements are better than when I wear shoes. She thought as she began to strike vampires. She turned gracefully on her toes, trying to strike a vampire but, when she tried to land the floor became slippery and she fell down hard and hurt her knee in the fall. Oh..this is just perfect!! Ariane thought. Must be one of the vampire's ablities, but which one? She thought. The vampires were now comming at her all at once Ariane did her best to dodge but eventually got cut by something sharp on her cheek and then got kicked in the gut Ariane flew and as she flew she did her best to pull the trigger on her gun as many times as she could and she was sucessful in her attempt hitting a few vampires. Ariane then flipped herself over and landed with her feet on the ground. "That kick had both distance and height. Heh..looks like we might have a soccer player somewhere in that crowd." Ariane charged toward the crowd once more. This time she started to jump and dance from person to person shooting her gun at them with a spell bullet. She then landed on the ground, there were still several. "Goodness! How many of you are there?! Now I'm starting to wonder what Ann did to make all of you chase her." Ariane said she then started to get attacked by someones hair. Ariane did her best to doged it and started doing the steps to her second dance. She was now not only trying to doged and hit vampires, but was trying to doged and stop the hair. Ariane shot at a piece of hair as she closed her fan and stabbed a vampire with it under the chest but not in the stomach. She then started to get tired, not tired from fighting, but tired of fighting. She sighed as she hit yet another vampire. There was only a few left standing and it was then that the hair stopped moving, but she then got hit by some type of light, then was trapped in a cage entirely made out of the floor. The vampires laughed at her. "You don't look so hot now vampire hunter." one of the vampires said. "Let's see you try to attack like 30 vampires, WITHOUT killing them." Ariane replied. She then sat down on the floor. "Your not even going to try to get out? Or is it that your too tired to try?" "You think I'm tired? Ha...yeah I'm tired alright." "So I was right." "Not excatly, I'm not tired from fighting, I'm tired of fighting. It started to get boring...not that it was entertaining in the first place, but after awhile its just..." Ariane then closed her eyes, tilted her head back and began to snore. Ariane opened her eyes and looked at the roof of the cage. She then reloaded her gun quickly.


(OOC:I noticed that I don't mention any vampire spells when Ariane fights against a vampire. I guess cause I thought that people would already think that my gun would already have spell bullets, unless if Ariane used normal bullets. Another thing I noticed, I don't mention when she has spell bullet or a regular one, also I don't have her reload the gun, even though she's suppose to, and theres I dunno most likely 80 and below bullets that can fit in there. wow..a bit ahead in the story and I just noticed that. Imma add that to ablities once I'm done with this post.. On top of that I'm forgetting things like:

((Yes quite a few ppl have forgotten that. But I've overlooked it since it isn’t such a big deal since no one is capitalizing on that fact.))

The young man stood up straight off of the lockers and watched the girl. "Oh so you're as bored as I am? That's great, meaning we can make this a bit more fun. I wonder how you fight when your angry or sad? I want to feel you emotions through the clash of your weapons." He stepped forward walking toward the cage he had the other vamps stay back smashing the cage with his fist. “It would be a pain to kill you and you not react the way I want. Actually a bit disturbing and disappointing really.” He took a few steps back tacking off his coat and tossing it to the crowd of vamps. “And it’s not so much that she did anything wrong, she simply exists. You humans exist, we need to cleanse the world of your kind devouring the world. So in return we’ll devour you instead. Besides I can’t get it out of my head. The sweet taste of your blood, I’ll never forget it. That chase on the roof top from your mothers little group of henchmen. I cant get it out of my head, every time I see you its such a challenge to keep myself in check. But now I can finally have what’s been kept from me for so long. Araine, I’m going to take your blood. And depending on how I feel I may turn you, such a waste if you just die.”

She heard a familar voice say. She then saw Ichi running towards her. "Ichi stay back!" She said. Ichi stopped, not because of wanting to do what she said, but because of the look in her eyes and the tone she used. It had both suprised and frighten Ichi. She turned her head from Ichi. She then took off her socks, she was now in her barefeet. Ichi realized what she was doing. "Ariane! Don-" "Quiet!!" She yelled. Ichi shut his mouth. She then leaned back into a backbend and then lifted her feet off the ground. Ichi realizing what she was going to do next held his head down. She's going to give it her all.. "You know, I always hated this dance. The one I'm about to do. It doesn't have the same beauty as the rest and being barefooted doesn't help." Ariane felt her gun shake, it was a bit excited for Ariane being barefooted. Which doesn't happen a lot. "I'm not going to let you take my blood without a fight!" She said. She then pushed off her hands and went up in the air. She leaned back and pulled the chain out while twisting it around herself, making sure that her body didn't come in contact with the chain and just having it surround herself. Her fan was attached at the other end. She then threw her fan down at the ground and then landed on the ground in another dance pose she now had the chains wound around her arm. She did 3 quick steps on her toes before yanking her fan out of the ground. There is no room for making mistakes with this dance. One mistake could be deadly for me.... Ariane thought.

[Clous]

The vamp brushed his white hair from his face beore quickly jumping back and running at Ariane from her left side. the tone of her voice and the aura she gave off, that pure emotion was beautiful to him. He stayed low and kept his arms out. "I don't think I've ever seen this dance. You really didnt have to pull out something new just to impress me," he laughed. His eyes seemed to harden as tehy looked more deadly than usual. Not that his eyes could be seen form under his hair. Though the red glow was easily seen. The ground under his feet crasked as he launched himself at neck break speed even for a vamp. His physical image failed to keep up leaving several afterimages behind him as the ground tore apart. He knew he needed to do this quickly before the whole school came to see what was going on. No doubt teh other vamps who may try to save the humans could sense the fighting. Vampire hunters he wasnt so worried about. Once he was close enough his arm lashed out straight like a blade and lunged toward Ariane's chain wrapped arm. He didnt care if he pierced her skin or not but he would atleast try to sever the chains and put an end to her little death dance.

Ariane did her next steps as he ran. "I don't think I've ever seen this dance. You really didnt have to pull out something new just to impress me,"
he laughed. Well this isn't excatly new and it isn't to impress you. No, this is me guessing that this is what I need to do. Your probably powerful, so even if I did do my usual dances, I would've eventually had to switch to this one. Ariane thought. He was now going faster, so fast that he left after images and the ground tore at his feet. Ariane closed her eyes. What's the point of even trying to see him if he's going that fast? She thought. If I can't see him, I might as well use other senses. Ariane's hand went up quickly and before she even got to pull the trigger the gun did it, itself and shot a few spellbullets, while moving on its own a bit and dragging Ariane's arm. "Your so excited you can't help yourself can you? Black Rock Shooter?" She asked her gun in a soft voice.

[Clous]

He was forced to stumble back as the bullets ripped across his arm. He was able to avoid a direct hit, the bulelts grazing hsi arm. He gripped his arm breathing heavily. His fangs in full view as his red eyes glowed from under his white bangs. "Damn you, I take it back. Im just going to kill you now." Victor pulled his hood back, the walls on either side of his caving in slightly as he stored up energy. his body seemed to generate some odd force. The other vamps stepping back. He wondered what Ariane's reaction would be, he was sure she didnt know who he really was. She would probably think it was Clous, it didnt help much considering he had all of his memories of her. He would use that to his advantage and try to throw ehr off. But that damned gun was annoying as hell.

[Yukihoshi]

"Damn you, I take it back. I'm just going to kill you now." Ariane opened her eyes. She saw him pull his hood back. She then looked around herself and could see the walls change a bit. It was like..some odd force was being generated by his body. She looked back at him and noticed how the other vampires were stepping back and Ichi just stood there looking at her. Ariane was defintely not afraid or suprised, she expected it. Her gun started shaking violently. Ariane quickly un wrapped the chain from her arm and threw up her fan, as she did this she turned as she did the steps to her dance faster than usual. She then yanked the fan off the ceiling wound up the chain and did more steps to her dance before jumping in the air and spinning as fast as she could, she let Black rock shooter handle the shooting. She closed her eyes as she did this and landed on the ground on the tip of her toe and begun to spin, while moving her arms as Black Rock Shooter shot a lot of spell bullets on its own. As she spins she spots like when she usually does a spin.

(The spin she does is the same spin Yuki does in Still Doll, Vampire Knight ending theme. Execpt much faster and she isn't in a mirror or wearing ballet slippers or wearing a pink tutu or dress. I forgot the name of the spin, but it is a ballet step (8 years of ballet and after not being in it for like 2 or 3 years I forget everything)

Spotting prevents one from getting dizzy while spinning.)

"Tch" Victor watched her movements for a few seconds before her gun started going off, he lifted his good arm (right) and held his hand stretched out infront of him. The force seemed to simpl generate infront of him sopping hte bullets from advancing and freezing midair. "You're not going to get me like that." He drew his hand back as if he were getting ready for a punch. Teh bullets turned facing back toward Ariane, and he thrusted his fist forward. The force combined wiht the bulletes themselves would make for one hell of a gift, but they wren't for Ariane, they were aimed at Ichi. Teh spell bullets were wide spread like a shot gun burst so avoding would be difficult in the hallways of the academy. A smile crossed Victor's face as he had the other vampires move in on Ariane, meanwhile he would dissapear.

Ariane saw that the bullets froze in midair, before it hit him. He then said. "Your not going to get me like that." The bullets then turned and were facing back toward herself. When the passed her she saw that it went straight for Ichi. Ichi looked at the blast and then got hit by it. "Ichi!" Ariane yelled. She stepped towards him, but then sensed the other vampires comming, she quickly turned and quickly went into the next steps of her dance. Striking them one by one or two by two. She was then hit by something, but that didn't stop her from getting them. She then moved faster and faster as her dance progressed, until there was only a four left. Ariane jumped up and used both her gun and her fan in different directions moving them as fast as she could until she hit the last of them. Ariane was now starting to get tired. She then moved toward Ichi, he was still breathing a bit and his eyes were closed. "Ichi..." She said. "Why didn't you go away?" She asked. "I don't know...I'm wondering that myself." He said, his eyes still closed. "That was one good shot, whoo! I almost didn't make it!" He said, he then opened his eyes and stood up. "What? How did you dodge it?" Ariane asked. "Very...painfully. That was super difficult and it almost hit me, like it was like I dunno milimeter away from me getting hit." "That still doesn't answer my question, but I won't pester you anymore about it." Ariane closed her eyes and took a deep breath.

(OOC:Ariane just assumed he got hit by it. Spell bullets aren't excatly dim, so having them all bunched up together, kinda hard to see if you hit something or not. I thought I had lost Ichi for a minute or two, but then I re-read your post and you put down it'll be difficult to avoid. Not impossible. Since I couldn't decide whether I should just have him duck down or simply just run away or smash a window and jumped out I just said he dodged it. Theres also another thing I was thinking about using, but I would rather wait until a mission or something to reveal it...)

Victor panted catching his breath as he opened the doors to the main campus building. It wouldn’t be long now the night class would be coming and he couldn’t hang around the way he was. He jumped up to the wall just above the door hanging onto its seal for support. He looked at Clous and laughed at him. “Come now brother, this look doesn’t suit you. You should be face first in the dirt.” With that said he grabbed Clous by his hair and roughly pulled him from the imprint in the wall, pieces of the wall and rock hitting the ground and Clous’ wounds bleeding through as the blood spilt flowed over the door and the walls around. He soon landed on the ground with a lifeless thud where Victor left him. “IF you survive, I’ll be looking forward to seeing you again. Maybe you’ll be stronger, though I doubt it. You’re no better off than these damn humans you surround yourself with. I would have hoped you would have learned the first time.” That said he walked toward the gate and disappeared, heading back to the moon dorms for a little rest. He figured he would leave a little fun for the others, no need in him taking it all.

Ariane then started to look around. "He's gone." She said. "Hmm? Oh! That guy that you were fighting? Yeah...looks like he is." "I wonder..." "Hmm?" "I wonder what was up with him." "Do you know him?" "Yeah...well I think I do. Then again..." Ariane began to think. Until she remebered the last time she saw Clous. "Could it be?" She thought ouloud. "Could it be what?" "Err..nothing. Anyway, we better start working again and get someone here to move these students." Ichi and Ariane then walked down the hallway.

[Clous]

Clous' body twitched slightly. It moving on its own trying to pull his exposed angelic wing back into his shoulder blade. It had almost been ripped off and flopping in the snow. The white feathers wer e acrimson red now, and soon he wa still again as the falling snow worked to cover him up.

((sucks I know...I need to work on the NPC, prolly do tha twhen I get home though. Also..need to PM ppl to let them know we're not dead yet XP))
